2018 Estate Minister
84% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Petit Verdot
Low key earthy rich mineral quality with red and black fruit, cedar, tobacco, and red soil characteristics. A Southern Rhone-style. Crystal clarity, with a lemon and polite tart cherry finish.

The pour presents a luscious ruby red color and the coating on the glass shows a good collection of legs. The nose gives a pleasant cherry and subtle spices. First sip starts with a dark fruit nuance quickly followed by earthy spice. A tabaccoish almost coffee finish complements the rich tannins and balanced acidity. Good clean ending. Bottom line, darn good wine to go with a darn good meal.
